Queen’s Landing Voted Best Hotel in Ontario

Condé Nast Travel Awards bestowed on two Niagara-on-the-Lake hotels

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON October 20, 2009 – Vintage Hotels has been recognized for its hospitality excellence by the readers of Condé Nast Traveler in its annual Readers’ Choice Awards. Queen’s Landing becomes the third Vintage Hotels property to join the Condé Nast winners’ circle. Two Vintage Hotels achieved the noteworthy awards this year.

Queen’s Landing was chosen as the top hotel in Ontario in the Condé Nast Readers’ Choice Awards 2009, with Prince of Wales placing fourth. In addition, Queen’s Landing’s score earned it a ranking of seventh best hotel in all of Canada.

This is the third time within five years that Condé Nast Traveler chose a Vintage Hotels property as Ontario’s best. In 2005, Prince of Wales was top of the Condé Nast Gold List, followed by Pillar and Post in 2006.

Condé Nast Traveler, an international publication and renowned guide for world travelers, recognizes the finest establishments around the globe with its prestigious Readers’ Choice Travel Awards and Gold List, as elected by over 32,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers. Ratings are given for rooms, service, food, location, design and activities, the highest average score determining placement on the prestigious lists.

Bob Jackson, CEO of Vintage Hotels, attributes the rankings to the unique qualities of the properties as well as the consistent effort and enthusiasm of the staff in delivering exceptional service. “We are proud to have our hotels recognized by Condé Nast for the third time. The commitment of our entire team to providing an unparalleled guest experience grows even stronger when their achievements are showcased in this way.”
